Our Pastor

Pastor Angela E. McKinney is a native of North Carolina. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She is anointed, chosen and called by God to bring forth a life changing word in this season Pastor McKinney is a graduate of Union County Public Schools. She matriculated in Business Administration at South Piedmont Community College in Monroe NC.
Pastor McKinney was ordained as an evangelist April 25, 1999 under the leadership of Apostle Juanita D. Frisby and installed as pastor of Deliverance Crusade Ministries August 8, 2004, Desiring to pursue further education, she attended and graduated May 24, 2009 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary of South Florida under the instruction of Apostle W. Kaye Mc Donald.
Pastor McKinney’s evangelistic ministry has taken her to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and as far south as Georgia declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ. On March 27, 2022 she was installed as senior pastor of Essence of The Cross Ministry located in Monroe NC. Her vision is to see souls saved and delivered by inspiring men and women to be Godly examples in the earth.
